Paddle on Beautiful Hilton Head Island!

Come see why Hilton Head Island has been voted by Travel and Leisure as the best island destination in America (https://www.travelandleisure.com/worlds-best/hilton-head-best-island-in-us). Hilton Head Island is in the heart of South Carolina's Lowcountry and is surrounded by vast tidal salt marshes that are a paddler's paradise. Hilton Head has many great restaurants, tennis courts, world-known golf courses and miles of bike paths and hard-packed sandy beaches great for running and biking.  Stay the weekend, you will not regret it!

The race is part of The Southern Stoke Paddle Series!

The race will be held near Skull Creek, which separates Hilton Head Island from Pinckney Island (a national wildlife refuge) and the mainland. Skull Creek is part of the Intercoastal waterway and has a rich history including native Indian oyster shell rings and burning homes during the Revolutionary War.

Race Beneficiaries

The Lowcountry Boil Paddle Race proceeds will benefit The Outside Foundation. The Outside Foundation has a mission to get every child in Beaufort County in a kayak during their middle school years. The Outside Foundation also is involved with regular trash clean-up efforts and a unique oyster recycling program.

Donate to our Cause

Can't attend the race this year, but would still like to donate to our worthy causes? Every dollar counts. It only costs $25 for a scholarship to get a kid OUTSIDE in our Kids in Kayaks Program. The cost of the program is too much for many Beaufort County families. Make an impact, Donate here!
