_____________________SUP and Sail in Greece
The departures begin from Alimos Marina, which is located in Athens 15km from the city center and 30km from the International Airport of Greece, El. Venizelos. All the transportation to-from the catamaran is not included.
There are two different areas to explore from Alimos, always depending on the weather conditions and the level of confidence of clients on the catamaran.
Firstly, the Saronic Gulf is the most easily accessible from Athens with beautiful destinations, the area is the most common to have less wind compared to the second area which is the Cyclades. That does not mean that is always the case but people that do not feel that confident on the catamaran choose the Saronic Gulf. It is very close to the mainland, Peloponnese where they are few spots and stops on our usual itinerary.
The second area the Cyclades is located in the Agean sea which requires a longer sailing time to reach the closest island, as well as returning to Athens. It is very common for the area to have strong winds especially in the summer, the strong north summer winds called Meltemi, sometimes make it difficult to sail to the Cyclades for beginner sailors, in that case, it might be mandatory to sail to the Saronic Gulf.
Both of the areas have a lot to offer, the Cyclades have a bigger spectrum of beaches and destinations so we tend to prefer them, but sometimes the strong winds do not allow us to sail there.
We always sail depending on the weather.
Check-in Saturday, time varies from 13.00-17.00pm
Check-out Saturday, time varies from 09.00-10.00am--important--
The catamaran should be returned in the marina the day before the end of the charter, the latest by 18.00 pmOnce the catamaran is ready and cleaned from the previous charter, people settle on their cabins and we are ready to sail!
Depending on the weather every day we could explore a different island in the day by the coast to beautiful sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, while at the night at the port exploring the life on the island.
It is recommended to book as a group of two people since the cabins are doubles, and the maximum capacity is 10 people. There's a need for a minimum of 6 people for the catamaran to sail unless people evenly fill the amount of the free spots.
We offer breakfast lunch and dinner on board.
The price is 1600euro per person for the whole week included the fuel, mooring fees, and the crew.
