Hi guys, could you tell us a little bit about yourselves?
We are Jordan and Joe Lapekas.
We founded Lake Powell Paddleboards in Page, AZ in April of 2013. With backgrounds in surf, skate, snowboarding, and sailboat racing we have found our perfect sport: Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP). We wanted to open our own shop at one the world’s best places for it~Lake Powell.

Tell us a little bit about your experience with paddleboarding
We are team “SUP the USA”. In 2012 we set off on a personal quest to paddle in all 50 states. Over 2 years and 120,000 miles later, we accomplished our goal! We have now paddled in all 50 states, from the Bayous of Louisiana to mountain lakes in Alaska and including parts of the Pacific, the Atlantic, and the Gulf of Mexico.

Lake Powell is a paddler’s dream. With the majestic canyon walls and incredible slot canyons, it is unlike anywhere else on earth. From short tours for beginners to all day boat adventures Lake Powell Paddleboards will take you to some of the world’s most amazing places to SUP (Stand-up Paddle) or kayak here at Lake Powell.

Can you tell us some interesting notes about the area?
We are located on the edge of the Navajo Nation.

Do you have a season or do you operate year round?
Our shop is open all year. We are open 7 days a week from April- September and 5 days a week for the winter months. We rent SUP's, kayaks and bikes and have a full retail shop.

Where would you recommend travelers stay nearby?
Red Rock Motel. It's very close.

Are there any additional activities nearby that you recommend?
Two of the most famous natural wonders of the world are here in our area;
