Learn how to stand up paddle and have lessons at Be Fit Bodies an ASI accredited stand up paddle school, located at Norah Head, Central Coast NSW, only 90 minutes north of Sydney and 50 minutes south of Newcastle.
The school is managed by Adam Lucas who is an ASI Level 2 SUP Instructor (Enclosed Flat Water), holds rescue and first aid certificates, and has a fitness background. He has lived in the local area from a young age, is an advanced surfer having surfed world class surf breaks and was a professional baseball player in the USA.
Adam started paddling and soon decided it was the perfect match for fitness and being on and near the water.
Be Fit Bodies is accredited for enclosed flat water and exposed waters locations.
The school offers a wide range of activities to help promote a healthy active lifestyle. With a Fun and friendly coaching team our boot camps are designed to cater for all fitness levels and all ages.
We offer Group lessons, Individual lessons and Paddle Board Hire. Paddle boarding offers a unique form of fitness and is great fun for the whole family.
We also understand the importance of nutrition to successfully achieve a complete healthy active lifestyle. We have developed a unique system in which any of our clients can plug into, to learn and develop the skills necessary to implement optimum nutrition into their lifestyle.
SUP sessions are held at Cabbage Tree Bay at Norah Head. It's a a great location, with a sandy beach, sheltered flat wter and picturesque, set against natural parklands, with ideal conditions for supping.
There are cafes nearby and a rock pool for kids to swim in and the famous man kept lighthouse set in the nature reserve. Depending on conditions, SUP sessions may also be held at Budgewoi.
