Gorge Performance (est. 1983) is the premier family-owned board shop in the Pacific Northwest.
Located in Portland, Oregon, Gorge Performance is not only walking distance from stand up paddling on the Willamette River, it's centrally located between three amazing playgrounds: the Oregon coast, Mt. Hood, and the infamously windy Columbia River Gorge. The location and nearly 35 years experience make Gorge Performance the ideal hub for outfitting Pacific NW surfers, paddlers, snowboarders, skateboarders, and wind junkies with the best gear available and with the best service possible.
We're constantly adding products to our new website, but it's FAR from complete! So while this is a good starting point to browse our selection, we always recommend people drop in to see for yourself. Plus, there are numerous In-Store Perks to make it worth your while.

Used Surfboards Looking for a used board? Or do you have a board to sell? Gorge offers the best consignment deal in town, some say even the world.
Surf & SUP Rentals We rent surfboards, wetsuits, and stand up paddleboards. Check out the Rentals page for more info and rates.
Board Repairs We do all kinds of board repairs from minor dings to major repairs. We repair lots of other things too. And if we can't fix it, we'll do our best to direct you to who can.
Roof Racks & Accessories We know how precious your new cargo is. We'll help you find the best solution for your gear-hauling needs. If we don't have the necessary bars and fit kit in stock, we'll gladly order them for you (Yakima and Thule). We'll even help you install the rack, for FREE.
