Meelup Beach Hire has been at Meelup for over 10 years. Originally set up by local surfer Mike Wise. It changed ownership for the second time in November 2016 when Justin Redman took over.
Justin is a born and bred local, his parents started the original beach hire business at Dunsborough foreshore, back in the '80s. Justin's childhood was spent learning about the ocean, wind, and tides. Sailing and paddling in Geographe Bay were everyday activities.
Justin is an accredited ASI SUP instructor and is excited to offer Stand Up Paddle Board lessons and Kayaking Tours. Justin has spent all his life on the ocean and has won four Australian Longboard Titles and competed on the world longboard circuit and had a world ranking of 13 in 2015.
As a team, we love the ocean and love our jobs. We are passionate about all the cool things that you can do at the beach like Stand Up Paddleboarding and Kayaking. Meelup is located just 5km out of Dunsborough. We have a great team of experienced friendly watermen, come down and say hi.
