Learn to Stand Up Paddle (SUP) in Newcastle with the professional coaching staff from Sanbah at Newcastle Stand Up Paddle School. We're a licensed Surfing Australia surf school offering group, private, and school sport lessons.
Times and Location
We operate 7 days a week. running 2 classes each morning at 9 am and 10.30 am on weekends and school holidays, Bookings essential. Based at Horseshoe Beach, Newcastle, Australia. Learn on still water or waves. Great core strengthening workout. All ages and abilities welcome, but group lessons are restricted to ages 11 years and older.
Certified Coaches
All coaching staff is local surfers who love surfing. They work in the industry, some are sponsored surfers, and others work in our surf shop. All staff are Surfing Australia Level 1 Instructors and are accredited with qualifications in St Johns Senior First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation, Apolla, and Newcastle City Council children’s work check.
Group SUP Lesson
Group 80 minute lessons from $50 per person. Includes SUP board and paddle, lycra rash shirt (sun protection), sunscreen, and expert coaching. Officially licensed by Newcastle Council and Surfing Australia. Buy 4 lessons get 1 free. Great core strengthening workout. Ages 11 years and older. Book lessons online.
