Best Time to Visit: The best time to visit Scotland is during spring (late March to May) and fall (September to November). Temperatures are warmer by spring, with averages of 43°F-59°F, although there will still be snow in the mountains of the Highlands and the Cairngorms. Stand Up Paddleboarding is the world's fastest-growing watersport, it's fun to do, easy to pick up and can be done almost anywhere there is water.

Here at Paddle Surf Scotland we can HIRE you inflatable, transportable SUP's which pack down to a backpack size, so you can paddle where you want when you want. We can even deliver to you across the Perthshire/Tayside and Inverness/Moray regions. It costs only £35 per board per day to hire. All equipment required such as Wetsuits and Buoyancy Aids is provided.

We can instruct and coach you in the skills you need, in the region's best locations. be it a river, loch or coast that you want to learn in. We can tailor the sessions to meet your needs. Lessons cost only £40 per person for three hours on the water. All equipment required such as Wetsuits and buoyancy aids is provided.

We are lucky in our regions to have several locations that are both stunning and sheltered from most poor weather, such as Clunie Loch in Perthshire and Loch Belevat near Nairn. This means that we can offer excellent Paddleboarding conditions where other companies that are tied to a single location would have to cancel or take you out in not ideal circumstances.
