In 2010 the SUP CLUB Hamburg was founded as a community of the first stand up paddlers in Hamburg.
The founding members are Philipp Heindl and Christian Harbacek, who were enthusiastic about the new way of surfing from the very first paddle stroke. Jan Erik Haack - reigning Hamburg master SUP Sprint - created a first methodological course concept. The team grew with Lena Albrecht (German Vice Champion Wave SUP 2015) and Kai-Nicolas Steimer (German Champion Sprint Beach Race, categories 12.6 and 14.0) and now consists of over 25 association-certified SUP coaches, surf instructors, certified yoga teachers and fitness trainers the four 4 locations (Hamburg, Stade, Starnberg in Germany and Blavand in Denmark).
In SUP races, team riders regularly occupy podium places in national and international SUP competitions at home and abroad. The entire SUP CLUBS team stands for passion and professionalism and is looking forward to making your SUP event a great experience for you and your guests.
