We give paddleboard lessons and rent out SUPs, on St. John, the smallest and most relaxed of the US Virgin Islands. It is as near to perfection as a Caribbean Island can be. More than two-thirds of the 20 square mile island is part of the National Park, which means they are protected from development. It is a strikingly beautiful island preserved in natural beauty and a perfect place to paddleboard!

We are island lovers and watersports enthusiasts! We would love to share this passion with you and show you the most beautiful places either via boat or paddleboard.

SUP-St. John Location

We are located just off South Shore Road overlooking Rendezvous Bay, just after Chocolate Hole and before the “orange ball house”. We can offer superior rental gear at a low price because we don’t rent a shop or sit around in a shop all day waiting for customers.

Our business model is that we deliver the boards to the villas and put them on the car for you, usually the evening before so that you are flexible as to when to start in the morning and most of our customers find that more convenient than having to drive into town to pick up boards. At the end of the rental we will also pick up the boards at your place.

Delivery and Pickup is free with weekly rental anywhere on the island  –  for day rentals free delivery and pickup anywhere in the Cruz Bay, Great Cruz Bay, Chocolate Hole, Gift Hill,  Rendezvous/Ditliff and Fish bay Area). If you are staying in Coral Bay and want a day rental we can also meet you at Chateaux Bordeaux or at Starfish market. If you don’t have a car, we also have inflatable paddleboards for rent that roll up into a backpack which you can take on a hike or taxi.

We do our delivery runs between 4 and 6 pm so please contact us by lunchtime if you need boards for the following day. In the mornings we are often out giving lessons.

Information About the Island of St. John

St. John is an island in the Caribbean Sea and a constituent district of the United States Virgin Islands (USVI), an unincorporated territory of the United States. St. John is located about ninety miles east of Puerto Rico. St. John is four miles east of St. Thomas (the territory’s capital, Charlotte Amalie) and four miles southwest of Tortola, part of the British Virgin Islands.

No cruise ships stop on St. John, there is not a single traffic light on the island and there is no airport either. There is no McDonald’s, no Kmart, no Walmart, and no movie theater. It is 50.8 km² (19.61 sq mi) in an area with a population of 4,170.
