Tue Conditioned Hikers: Sycamore Canyon into Serrano Valley

A strenuous 12.5 miles, 1500' gain - from the Sycamore Canyon trailhead. Sycamore Canyon, Serrano Valley. Old Boney Trail, to Sycamore Cyn.This hike is a lollipop. Meet in the parking lot for the Sycamore Cyn Campgrounds. There is a FEE for parking there. You can park on the PCH and hike in to the parking lot. To get to the trailhead: From Santa Monica take PCH 31 miles to the posted Big Sycamore Canyon entrance on the right. Bring: Bring lunch, water, and lug soles.

Additional Directions: In going on a Sierra Club outing you are potentially on a trip with individuals vaccinated and unvaccinated. It is your choice to attend the outing knowing this information. The leader can not and should not reveal the status of participants vaccination or reject a participant based on their vaccination status. You are welcome to wear a mask if that makes you comfortable. If someone is experiencing any possible COVID symptoms or is sick, they should not attend the outing. The participant is responsible for contacting the leader to report a positive COVID test. Leaders will provide participants with their contact information. Leader will report as an Incident Report to the Sierra Club.
