My name is Adrienne Rommel and I'm the founder of Balanced Adventure Retreats. I am a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Yoga Teacher, and SUP Yoga Instructor from Toronto, Canada, and the founder of Balanced Adventure Retreats.
I combine my passion for travel and adventure with my love for yoga and water sports, specializing in international retreats in off-the-beaten-path destinations. My retreats are designed for single travelers, couples, and groups who are looking for more than an all-inclusive 5-Star hotel experience, and who want to connect with like-minded people in an intimate atmosphere.
YOGA & SUP
I teach a variety of yoga styles including Hatha flow, vinyasa, restorative, and yin yoga both on the mat and on the water, as well as SUP instruction, suitable for all levels. I always base my retreat locations wherever SUP and other watersports like surfing and kitesurfing are available. I have completed my YTT 200hr, specializing in Hatha Yoga, and am a Certified SUP Instructor from Paddle Canada.
NUTRITION
As a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, I know what is best for clients' health. I specialize in helping people live a sugar-free lifestyle by creating sugar detox programs, advising on anti-candida, paleo and vegan diets, weight loss programs, providing weight management consultations, and education about meal preparation and planning.
RETREATS
My retreats are hosted at eco-friendly locations with high standards to cater to health-conscious living and always include delicious and nutritious cuisine, the finest choices of adult beverages, cultural activities, and adventure. I believe life is about balance, not restriction, especially when on holiday!
