The first time I went paddle boarding it was with my girlfriends. We rented boards and went on the Carlsbad Lagoon. I think I wore a short wetsuit in case I fell in the water. Well, I fell several times when I was first learning to SUP. I've learned you have to fall in, in order to learn to stand up!
I am passionate about the sport & love getting out on the water with my friends & teammates. I really love taking new people out on the water, and sharing the "stoke". I've been paddling for 4 years, and love every aspect of the sport-SUP Fitness, SUP Yoga, SUP Racing, Recreational SUP. I am SUP certified through PaddleFit, ACA, and WPA. I continue to grow within the sport and train weekly with the Performance Paddling Team Club and enter local SUP races whenever I get a chance.
