In a fun & relaxed environment come learn the basics of Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) in our 2 hour SUP introduction class. Our handpicked venues are all over the North York Moors National Park – come and join us for a fun escapade and a day-long grin.
On dry land, we’ll start with an introduction to the basic elements of effective SUP – the 3 P’s: position, posture, and paddling. Then we put the 3 P’s to the test on the water and perfect our technique as we paddle up a River, Dam, or on the sea. Beforehand we will also warm up, discuss the equipment and safety.
SUP Introduction classes are accessible to all. However, as a minimum, you must be able to swim a minimum of 50 meters.
We provide the board, paddle, wetsuit, buoyancy aid, and qualified tuition. You just bring a towel, water, warm clothes, and a smile :). In warm weather bring sun lotion, old trainers and swimwear.
We operate on the River Tees, River Esk (select Whitby / Sandsend), Sandsend (select Whitby / Sandsend), and Saltburn Saltburn.
