SUP Bunbury-Stand Up paddle school is owned and operated by Mel Hynynen. Mel is an experienced paddleboarder. She took up the sport in 2011 when a friend lent her a SUP and she was hooked. Mel is also an avid SUP competitor and regularly enters local falt water competitions.
After suffering the tragic loss of her partner and following a life re-evalution, she started SUP Bunbury. SUP combines her love of the ocean, nature and fitness and enables her to share her passion for paddlesports with others, which she says, is and amazing feeling.
Mel is an ASI accredited SUP Instructor and also holds a Certificate level 3 in Fitness and first aid. She is assisted in the SUP School by experienced SUP instructors holding first aid and surf rescue qualifications
SUP Bunbury offers group and private lessons, SUP Wise learn to paddle certificate courses, tours, rentals, team building or kids, adults, parties, school groups, and corporates.
