Learn how to Stand Up Paddle and have SUP lessons and SUP Yoga lessons at SUP OM YOGA, an ASI accredited learn to stand up paddle school, located at Milton Point Harbor in Rye, Westchester County, New York State.
SUP OM YOGA is owned and operated by Debbie Bisaccia. She is a water enthusiast and spent her entire life growing up on the shorelines of Montauk, NY. Debbie started paddling in 2011 and loved it. She is a 200 hr Yoga Instructor, Yoga Alliance registered since 2006, and has been delivering SUP Yoga sessions since 2012. She is also an American Red Cross Certified Waterfront Lifeguard.
On land, she is also the owner of Reforming Rehab Corp, a private out-patient Physical Therapy Practice specializing in Orthopedics, yoga Pilates and Indo SUP Yoga. She graduated from New York Medical College in 1998 and holds a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy.
Debbie started the SUP school to be able to combine all three of her passions Stand Up Paddle Board, SUP Yoga, and Physical Therapy. She was the first floating SUP Yoga school to be established in Westchester county. The aim is to build healthier lifestyles, and stronger communities, one wave, one breath, one paddle stroke at a time.
She holds ASI Level 1 and Level 2 SUP Instructor accreditation for Enclosed Flat Water and Exposed Waters locations, SUP water rescue, WPA Level 1, and SUP Yoga Instructor qualifications. She is assisted in the SUP school by ASI accredited instructors.
SUP OM YOGA offers group and private SUP lessons, SUP hire, SUP Yoga sessions, SUP Fitness, SUP Adventure Tours, SUP Rehabilitation sessions and certificate courses for kids, adults, parties, groups, and corporations.
SUP OM YOGA sessions are held in the flat, calm waters of Milton Point Harbor in Rye, near Wainwright House (a private beach). It’s a serene and tranquil location, with no boat traffic. Experience the freedom of a floating yoga mat and connect with nature.
Learn to SUP lessons are launched from the same location. Lessons and fitness sessions are targeted to your skill level and there are various paddling routes to experience.
