Learn how to stand up paddle and have SUP lessons at Supxscape, an ASI accredited learn to stand up paddle school, conducting SUP lessons on Portugal’s Silver Coast at Baleal, Peniche and Obidos, only 80 kms north of Lisbon, Portugal.

SUPxscape is one of, if not, Europe’s original and longest running full time SUP School dedicated 100% to SUP. Established in 2010 we have seen the sport go from strength to strength, and with 1000’s of hours experience delivering our SUP courses we have developed our programs as the sport has evolved from basic courses to in-depth lessons and clinics. Along with the group lessons you will also gain individual advice and tips helping you to develop your overall SUP and water skills as needed.

Our Training Centre and SUP Shop is situated in Peniche and just 200m from the beach, making it a great location to easily assess the conditions for the day and make the most of the amazing SUP we have on our doorstep for ocean paddling and SUP surf. For our flatwater SUPing we have 2 locations within 25 minutes one of which is the Lagoa de Obidos which is a saltwater lagoon with lots of marine and bird life.

One of our most popular programs is our ‘Learn 2 SUP’ holiday which is designed for beginners and the more experienced SUP’ers, and utilises the ASI pathway and SUP Wise learn to SUP program and resources.

The Learn 2 SUP holidays have a good mixture of single travellers, couples and friends. As well as our scheduled dates we can also offer groups of friends or a SUP club for a week long tailor made holiday depending on your requirements and abilities. Along with our Learn 2 holidays we also offer SUP surf, Downwinding and River Adventure paddling where you can start to take your SUP skills to a new level.

Back at base we offer in depth video analysis for paddle technique and SUP surf plus lots of advice on how to develop and perfect your skills for continuous improvement.
