For Paddlers who are looking for:

Paddle Method Afternoon Social paddles are for you!

We paddle on alternating weekend afternoons for fun, fitness, coaching tips, and community.

Due to local conditions - wind and boat traffic - paddlers must have completed Marina lesson 1 and Lesson 2 paddling in the wind or equivalent prior to joining this paddle so the group can cruise together.

Typically, afternoon paddles will have more boat traffic, and a developing sea breeze that can be both challenging, fun, and a great workout

Note: We paddle year-round so start times may change due to conditions, time changes, and schedules

Additional Notes:
The focus is always on fun with friends and includes paddle skill-building, muscle memory, and learning the rules of the road so everyone can enjoy cruising the waterways with confidence under ever-changing conditions.

These small group paddles are led by a Paddle Method coach who loves to share the stoke of SUP.

Paddlers may mingle on the water or chill on the beach before and after the paddle and there are several restaurants nearby for coffee or brunch/lunch apres-paddle if desired.

Bringing your own board?
All are welcome! If you bring your own board and have not completed Paddle Method classes - you must complete the ACA water safety certificate course and have enough skill to keep up with the group under the prevailing conditions, be a strong swimmer, and be able to get on your board if you fall in on your own.
You must also have your own PFD
